Lucknow/Etawah: State Minister of State for Higher Education Rajni Tiwari inaugurated the yoga program organized in Etawah on the occasion of the tenth International Yoga Day and also practiced yoga herself. Districts were allotted to ministers and officials by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to conduct the International Yoga Day program successfully, under which Rajni Tiwari was given the responsibility of Etawah district.

A large number of local people, students, government officials and yoga instructors participated in the program organized on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Minister Rajni Tiwari, in her address, underlined the importance of yoga and said that yoga not only improves physical health but also promotes mental peace and harmony. He said, “Yoga is an invaluable heritage of Indian culture, which gives the message of healthy and prosperous life to the whole world.”

On the occasion of Yoga Day, ‘Yoga Week’ was celebrated from 15 June to 21 June 2024 with the aim of providing the benefits of yoga to more and more people. During this, yoga camps were organized at various places in the district and information about various yoga asanas and their benefits was given by experts.

During the program, Minister Tiwari practiced various yoga asanas with the people present and inspired people to do yoga regularly. He said that regular yoga practice not only provides relief from physical diseases but also relieves mental stress.

The program was concluded by Minister Rajni Tiwari with thanking all the participants and resolving to make yoga an integral part of life. This successful program organized in Etawah reinforced the spirit of International Yoga Day and played an important role in increasing public awareness towards yoga.
